Kevski triumphs at Lahinch after a very hard-fought victory which went down to the wire. Having to make up a 4 shot defecit on Stee, Kevski slugs it out in poor weather round Doonbeg and comes out top, holing a nervy 2 footer on the 18th to win on countback. It was so near yet so far for Stee who held the lead on a couple of times down the home stretch. Adare proved tough for the Squires with poor scoring all round but Lahinch Old yielded some superb scoring with Squire and Stee both producing superb eagles at different holes. It came down to Doonbeg though and a struggle with tough weather conditions -well done Kevski!
